| 1. Real-Time D1 Resolution |
- The Nusoft VR series hardware-based design produces D1 resolution (720x480 NTSC or 720x576 PAL) in real-time (30 fps NTSC or 25fps PAL). This level of clarity and fluid motion makes it ideal for a range of situations due to its capability to distinguish fine details such as text on documents, thus making it ideal for surveillance in banks, etc.

| 2. Hardware Video Compression |
- Nusoft's VR series uses a digital signal processor (DSP) in its hardware to handle video compression from each camera and produce D1 resolution. Unlike software compression, the process is handled by the dedicated hardware compression chip, which dramatically reduces the load on the CPU. Freeing up the CPU allows it to concentrate on other processing tasks resulting in greater efficiency and effectiveness.

| 3. H.264 Video Compression |
- M-JPEG and MPEG-4 are the video compression formats most commonly used amongst the majority of digital video recorders on the market. The Nusoft VR series encodes each camera's video stream feed using H.264 and consequently reduces video sizes by as much as 50 to 80 percent in comparison to M-JPEG and MPEG-4 formats. This significantly minimizes the required amount of storage space and reduces the load on the network,
but most importantly still maintains a high level of video quality.

| 4. Multi-Tasking Capabilities |
- The Multi-Tasking capabilities of the Nusoft VR series are ideal for PC's multi-core processors. Live monitoring, recording, object searching, playback, event alerts and remote monitoring from multiple users can all be performed simultaneously without any significant performance degradation.
| 5. Synchronized AV Recording |
- The device features audio input channels to accommodate the sound from any attached cameras. Without the presence of audio, recordings can lack some vital information that is needed to paint a complete picture and provide sufficient evidence.
| 6. Remote Monitoring/Configuration Access |
- The Nusoft VR series provides convenient access to its settings through a browser. In addition to settings configuration you can also view the stream of each camera's live/recorded video in real-time D1 resolution, perform searches, etc.
| 7. Video Capture and Snapshot |
- The Nusoft VR series provides you with Snapshot and Video Capture. Snapshot enables you to capture a single image from the previously recorded videos and the live recording. Video Capture enables you to capture the period of desired recording and save it as an AVI file.
| 8. 3G Mobile Image Alert |
- The Nusoft VR series is capable of sending any images triggered by alerts directly to a 3G supported mobile device using MMS technology. By viewing the image via a mobile device, the supervisor will gain an instant insight into the situation.
| 9. Hardware-Based Motion Detection |
- The device's hardware performs all the motion detection features, preventing CPU overloading from hampering the system. Personnel entering the specified motion detection zone will trigger an alert (email, SMS message, etc.). Aside from this, to prevent image noise or changes in ambient lighting triggering a false alarm, the device provides a detection sensitivity threshold setting and various other intelligent mechanisms.
| 10. Online Playback |
- When viewing videos remotely, the majority of DVR devices require you to first download the entire file and install a compatible media player in order for it to be viewed. Nusoft provides you with comprehensive playback controls that can conveniently be used to view videos remotely. You can find the desired segment effortlessly by using time increments and adjusting the speed (x1/16, x1/8, x1/4, x1/2, x4, x8, x16 and x32) or direction.
| 11. Instant SMS Message Alerts |
- In the security surveillance field, time is a critical factor. To ensure the timely notification of the relevant personnel, the Nusoft VR series provides instant SMS Message Alerts in addition to alerts via email. In addition, the device can send the video from the triggered alert to a specified FTP server.
| 12. Object Search |
- Instead of having to manually view and search though recordings to locate the time when a fixed object goes missing, the device provides an Object Search mechanism. Simply by specifying the area the object was originally located in, the device can automatically locate the exact time that the object went missing.
| 13. Real-time Viewing on 3G Mobile Devices |
- During the times you are away from your business' premises and you receive a notification from your security system, what do you do? Hurry back to inspect the business' premises or call the police immediately? Or could it just be a false alarm? Nusoft features remote viewing using a 3G mobile device. Instead of accessing a PC to view it, you can see the real-time surveillance anytime and anywhere through your 3G mobile devices.
