NAP-570 can be powered by a power adapter (optional) or PoE 802.3at. Through the Power over Ethernet (PoE) technology, NAP-570 receives its power over the same cable that is used to carry datagrams, which simplifies network installation by allowing the use of a PoE-enabled switch as a power source.
